Villa Savoye (B)
The Villa Savoye was designed by Le Corbusier in 1920s and built during 1928-1931. The interesting thing about this holiday house is that it is free plan. In the 1920s, the buildings were designed to have walls on the ground level to support loads, and usually the windows on the walls were small due to windows don't taking loads. The Villa Sayoye has a free plan design can be seen as the ground level don't have walls to support the second and third levels. Poles were used instead of walls. The second level has horizontal windows which were outstanding in the 1920s due to there was no such design has been designed. The windows can be designed as horizontal because of the outer walls are not taking loads.
